WASHINGTON, Aug 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Health Jamal Al-Harbi inaugurated Wednesday a new extension to the Kuwait Health Office in Washington to improve services offered to Kuwaiti patients in the United States.

In statements to KUNA on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, the minister said that he seeks to make sure that Kuwaiti patients are service world-class healthcare abroad.

He pointed out that he is keen on identifying and choosing the most reputable hospitals for Kuwaiti patients who are sent to the United States.

The ministry also wants to increase cooperation with the prestigious medical institutions here to upgrade Kuwaiti hospitals, he noted.

He thanked Kuwaiti Ambassador in Washington Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah and officials of the health office for their care and support to Kuwaiti patients during their treatment journey in the country.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Kuwaiti Ambassador Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah and several embassy staff.
