Kuwaiti embassy urges citizens to be cautious ahead of Hurricane Harvey

WASHINGTON, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait's Embassy in Washington has urged all Kuwaiti citizens and students in the southern coastal states of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, which are expected to be hit by Hurricane Harvey, to stay vigilant and cautious, and take all precautionary measures to ensure their safety.

The embassy, in a press statement Thursday, also asked fellow citizens and students to follow up all instructions and directions by local US authorities on ways to face the hurricane and secure safety.

The embassy also urged compatriots to keep it updated about their situation and if they need any help through the following emergency phone numbers of the embassy and Kuwait's Culture Office in Washington respectively: (+1 202 262 0758) and (+1 202 364 2104).
